Allergy Kitchen

Hi there!

I’m the mother of  a child with food allergies. 

Our family has been living and eating with food allergies since 2010 when our daughter was diagnosed with food allergies to peanuts, egg, dairy, wheat, soy, and sesame. Perhaps it was blessing in disguise as our journey with food allergies has helped (uh…forced) us to lead healthier lifestyles. But, it is often a lonely and difficult journey with limited resources, foods, and places to turn for help and support. 

I love to prepare delicious and nutritious food that everyone can enjoy, but it can be a challenge and overwhelming at times. Our family and friends do not have food allergies, but enjoying food together is where I find joy. Through trial and tribulations, we have found solutions to many of our food-related challenges, and I hope that these recipes and tips will help those with food allergies (as well as their family and friends). You are not alone!
